I'm considering getting an mx-3000. It looks like it would be pretty much ideal for what I want to do. To aid me in that decision, I downloaded the software and started to build a prototype.
It looked very promising but today when I tried to open the .rcc file, the editor crashed. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but the problem appears to be in the .rcc file and not the program itself.
I've no idea what caused the file to become corrupt. I hadn't backed it up but I hadn't gotten too far so I'm not terribly upset over the loss of the data.
But, I am concerned about what might happen in the future. I guess keeping multiple old versions would be recommended.
Anyone else had this occur? Does someone have a contact with the developers to get the file in question to them so they can bulletproof the code and either implement a repair process or at least gracefully detect the corruption instead of crashing?
I've probably created about 50 rcc's, and I've never encountered this.
