One challenge I've been facing is consolidating IR codes for a given device, once they've been imported from an MXD file.

For instance, I've often found that one device file won't have all the relevant codes for a specific component, so will need to import 2 or more MXDs to get all the functionality (e.g., the Panasonic plasmas).

But each MXD that's imported results in a new root device "page" ... is it possible, then, to move/copy the IR codes from one device page to another??

oh, should have mentioned that the MXDs I'm referring to are those obtained from Remote Central.

Yes, if they're learned commands. Use Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V to copy and paste commands from one device file to another. If they are IR database commands, copy and paste will only create a shortcut to the original command.

CTRL-C/CTRL-V from the "LCD Button Editor"? Ok, great news, I'll give that a try.

But no way to copy IR database commands directly?

Actually, just highlight the button in question by clicking on it, then do the copy and paste.

Not between devices, only from one page to another in the same device.
