It's great that they fixed this bug, but when are they ever going to add some of the commonly requested features? The inability to copy/move (unlearned) commands from one device to another is such a huge oversight, IMHO, I can't believe it's gone this long without it. Direct hex entry is another thing that would seem simple for them to implement. There are so many things they could do with MXEditor to make it better.

I love the MX-700, but the software development just seems a bit lacking.

I think not being able to enter discrete codes directly with the device and function number (like 16-123) is a major oversight and a significant limitation of the MX-700/800.

As it is I have to enter those codes in one tool (pronto) to generate the learned IR, then copy that to a button in ProntoEdit, and finally copy from that using the Universal Browser.

Boggles the mind...

I would guess that the lack of direct Hex input has something to do with a philips licenseing thing.... Of course Sonance(RTI), AMX, and Crestron are over that hump so it cant be too much of an issue....

Are you sure you have the correct version software installed?

Does the button on the MX-700 turn blue, (and the letter "L" appears on the button), after you drop the command from the UB?

The link on the Home Theater Master web site still cites the incorrect version number. It says 1.12.201, but when I installed it, the software's Help->About menu identifies itself as 1.12.203.
