SL-9000 users,

Questions on what is the best feature to be hidden under the device select keys. My A/V system does not have discreet ON and discreet OFF.

If POWER ON is learnt on the device key, every time you select the device it will turn ON and OFF the device.

Any ideas what is the best function to learn under the device keys?

How safe is macro all ON or All OFF without discreet codes? I do need to step thru a whole loads of input select to get to my devices.

My current setup is:
TV-in1 to ReplayTV.
TV-in2 is VCR1.
TV-in3 is VCR2.
TV-A is Antenna.
TV-B is RF in Video Games.

VCR1-in1 is Cable.
VCR1-in2 is VCR2-out.

VCR2-in1 is DVD.
VCR2-in2 is Composite-in of Video Games.

I need some pointers as to how you guys are useing your macros and feature to learn the device keys in my situations.

Thanks,
Jas
