No, asked Eric who was trying to get them after a quick initial coordination, but nothing on discretes.

Anyone have any word on this yet? The box has been out for almost 8 months...you would think someone would have them by now if they're even available.

No discrete modes on the box yet. May be added with a future software version.

You can configure your favorites, and use the favorites IR signal for your guide button.

Ron, what do you mean by this:

<<>>

I am having Voom installed on Saturday, and want to line up my ducks now. I see someone uploaded the file so I will start there now.

And BTW - what discretes should be available from the voom receiver? Wouldn't you want to do zoom and stretch modes from the TV, and wouldn't you leave input format (ie 480, 720, 1080) set once?

Thanks,

E. J.

I installed VOOM yesterday, and was able to access VOOM codes through the software. PROBLEM is after loading, the Channel Up/Down buttons move up and down 2 channels at a time! Anyone familiar with this issue?

No discretes, but it does have a full time composite out that you can use with the various status supervision devices. The Xantech Gatekeeper would be a handy tool here for the Voom, TW 8000HD, and whatever else you come across w/o discretes. Since macro remotes are now becoming common place, not enough is being said of these solutions.

Yup. It's a hassle. Just learn the buttons head to head. I can send a newer MXD, but it is "entangled" with other devices. I definitely customize the native or downloaded MXDs (earlier one was mine). use >>s for pages, flipping up & down more intuitively. Use Guide button to actually do Favs, etc. That's the great thing about these remotes, you can make it intuitive/user friendly to your specific situation.

And there are no discretes yet and the PVR & new STB is getting more focusing than upgrading the current boxes, though the latest SW release was a big improvement.
