I found a file in the Files section that stated that it had discrete on/off for the HD-SAT520 by Zenith, but when I load it I cannot get of the buttons for the zenith to work.

Does anyone have a setup for the HD-SAT520 with discrete on/off?

Thanks!

Ross

I do have one, and it's part of my overall system MXF if it gets posted.

If you give email I'll send it.

Did you download mine? If you did, I use it every day. Did you import it as a device? It really should work - I swear :-) If there is something wrong with it, maybe I can correct it...

Ross,

Sent. I think I started with Joe's but rearranged and added a few things.

Joe and Tim,

Thanks for the help. Joe, I did download yours, but it did not seem to work. I did do an import, and the only part of that step that is confusing to me is the "Device Assign" dialog box that comes up with "Used External Devices", which lists none to several devices, and then has a drop down box at the bottom with a list of devices (but never the one that I am adding through the import). I have been ignoring that box.

Anyway I downloaded Tim's version tonight and imported it and at first thought that I did not have discrete on/off, but then found them at the bottom of the first page of buttons. Anyway to map them to the On Off buttons on the DTV page. The regular On/Off buttons appear to be the toggle on/off, not discrete.

Thanks!

Ross

Yes, it appears I made two mistakes on the mxd file. I had the Volume Up/Down pointing to my TV (I should have removed those before I posted them). I also should have made a copy of the discrete On/Off on one of the pages instead of leaving them on the actual On and Off buttons. The other on/off was indeed an On/Off toggle. One thing to note, since we can now import pronto stuff, almost all the codes are available in the pronto section so you can pick and choose. If anyone wants, I can upload an "easier to use" version, but at this time I don't see the point :-)

That's actually how I got mine in, too.
