It would appear as though the software for the MX-800 & MX-700 can share files (excepting RF setup.) Does this mean that I could use an MX-800 as my main remote, copy it's file to the 700 sofware, then create a Sidekick file? Or would I need to re-create a dummy MX-700 file in order to create a Sidekick file?
(I need RF for the main remote to be able to use it in a second zone, but it would be great to have the sidekick for my kids.) Thanks for your help.

You can use your 800 file to drag to the sidekick just fine.
