RE: MX-800

The initial setup of the MX-800 went well, but I was hoping to rearrange and rename some of the buttons on the main screen, but keep the codes/pages etc the same. Is there an easy way to do this?

Thanks!

very easy just click on the eighth button from the right (LCD button editor) and rearrange as needed, you do however need to have one open spot to be able to rearrange :)

On the LCD button editor, I seem to be able to define the buttons on pages 1-4, but not on the main screen.

An example of what I need to do is: My HD recorder is a ReplayTV not a TIVO. When I initally defined the devices, I ended up with the button named "TIVO", which does control the ReplayTV, but is a little confusing for those who know that I do not have a TIVO. I tried defining a new main button called REPLAY, but it then gives me an empty button, even though I try to pick the IR codes for the ReplayTV. I really just want to rename the current main button called "TIVO", and relocate it on the main screen if possible.

If the LCD editor can do this, I am missing it somehow.. Any clues?

Thanks again. I am going back to the tutorial to see what I can figure out...

Click on the "MAIN" button either on the simulator or the tree menu before opening the LCD editor. You can drag-and-drop buttons from one place to another and retain their link to the other pages of that device.
