I've been enjoying my MX500 for a few days now, but I can't seem to get the Philips DVD player to remember the learned commands I give it. It seems to work for a while, but by the next day some commands don't work. Any Ideas?

Philips components are often difficult to learn. Have you tried using one of the preprogrammed codes, or are these commands ones that were missing from a preprogrammed code?

Mike,
Thanks for the reply, but I finally gave up and went back to my older Samsung DVD player, and it works perfectly with the MX500.

I'm continually amazed that the company that almost ruled this market with the Pronto can't make a product that is simple to control.
