Does anyone here know how Pioneer is with discrete codes on their DVD's and DVD recorders? I just purchased the DVR 310 S.

I was able to get discretes for my Pioneer DV-F727 DVD changer (300 disc). Not sure about your model.

Slightly off topic, but where did you obtain the discretes for the DV-F727? I've got my MX-500 set up for basic operation of my system, but there are a couple buttons on the DV-F727 remote that I can't get the MX-500 to "learn". Any details would be appreciated.

Now I get all the discretes for the DV-F727 from MX Editor software for my MX-700. They are right there. However I also was able to get them on my MX-500 before I purchased the MX-700. I bought a $15 One For All remote and used the codes from:

to get my discrete on & off working. This method did not require JP-1 hacking which would also work I suppose, but I did not have the time to invest into another hobby.
Are you having trouble learning other 727 buttons? I never had any trouble learning the existing buttons into my MX-500.
Tom
