Does anyone know when the UK version will be avalable? The government has apparently now released the 418Mhz frequency to mobile phone manufacturers so the standard version would not work here anyway!
Thanks in advance,
Merv

I'll inquire and let you know.
Edit: I've sent an email to the UK/European representative and will report back my findings.

I asked the HTM boys at EHExpo today and they said it will be awhile before there's a European version. In addition to the frequency change, they have to obtain licensing in each country. Mike www.SurfRemote.com

As the person driving the project I can offer a definite status report.
We are developing the 433.92 MHz version of the MX3000 now. It will be ready by the end of January 2004.
We don't need licensing in every country. We need one overall European Union approval which meets the requirements of all countries in the EU. With this CE mark and the equivalent accreditation in the USA we effectively meet the technical requirements of all our target markets. I'm scheduling this work with a UK lab at the moment so that as soon as samples are available they'll be submitted for testing. The accreditaion process takes about a week as we always use third party test houses as a demonstration of our desire to always exceed relevant standards.
Summary: We have a definite program with actions, timescales etc and for those interested parties I operate an email update on a regular basis. Let me know if you want to join.
