I have an MX700 and 55" Mitsubishi Wide Screen TV. I ws wondering where the TV's ir receiver is. The TV seems to be sensitive to where the remote is aimed.

Thr IR receiver is inside the TV next to the CRTs. IR bounces off the mirror to the receiver, so just pointing the remote at the screen should work well. Mike www.SurfRemote.com

Yeah if you are trying to mount a flasher it takes some work. I had to take the back off the last Mitsu RPTV and mount the flasher inside. But it works great.
