How do you erase names on the main page, like cable and vcr1 and vcr2?

See page 22 of the manual:
1. Press MAIN and ENTER simultaneously for 3 secs, then press EDIT, then press the device key.
2. Here's the trick, which is mentioned in the section titled 'Tip': "To edit the text on device button, press the PAGE button and then press one of the ten device buttons you wish to edit".
