I realize that personal preference does differ, but I'd have to imagine that if HTM could figure out a good way to not sacrifice the skip buttons it would make the majority of people happy.
I've heard lots of people say they prefer the buttons that are available on the 700, but I haven't heard anyone say they're GLAD the skip buttons are missing.

I think HTM should've just used the M1 M2 M3 buttons on the 500 for Menu, Info, Exit. Now that we have the ability to put macro's on the device buttons anyway. Then again, maybe I'm weird because I don't have any use for 90 macro's programmed into my remote :-)

If there were ever a button ripe for being taken away, it's Pr. Ch., isn't it? How many DVD players use that one :-)

What's the big deal? If you're someone who uses that key a lot, just put it on the bottom row of the LCD.

It's not a big deal. I was just being facetious. ;-)

We've taken the MX-600 off of "pre-order" status as well. Another smooth HTM launch!
