Hi all, greetings from Australia.

I recently purchased the MX500/URC8811/JP1 combo from Bluedo.com and I must say the MX500 is a ripper (Australian slang for great). I essentially programmed 90% of the functions from my home theatre within a couple of hours, replacing 8 remotes. My 4 year old can (and does) operate the system now. The MX500 amd URC8811 are unavailable here, and Prontos etc are outrageously priced. I am very impressed with the MX500.

Now I have some specific questions which if anyone could assist me with I'd appreciate it. Being a newbie it might just be a case of not knowing where to look.

I cannot find discrete codes for my TV and Digital Set Top Box. I have programmed in almost every other function by the MX500 learning them or a couple of discrete power on/off codes I managed to stumble through with the URC8811 JP1 setup then teach them to the MX500

My TV is a Metz Artos-MF PIP 82TF97-100HT

My Digital STB is a Teac ITV-D500 which is an Australian version of the NetgemI STB available in Europe.

I've looked on the various OFA international websites for the codes for the URC8811. I cannot find the Teac/Netgem at all. I have found codes for Metz for various models of OFA remotes, but they are not accepted by the URC8811.

I've read the stuff on JP1 programming but it appears pretty daunting and I am on a steep learning curve as it is.

My other thought is that I own an IPAQ H5550. Is it possible to import Pronto codes somehow if available, convert them and teach them to the MX500 or URC8811? I'm guessing that I would need to be using NEVO to do this. Would that be easier than trying to get my head around the JP1 programming?

Of less critical importance are the codes to operate Pioneer Cassette Player CT-M6R. The remote for that doesn't work anymore and neither do the setup codes in the MX500 manual. I don't use the tape player often, but it would be nice to get everything working at once.

Thanks in advance.
