I just got the Toshiba DST3000 HD receiver (minus the remote), and the Toshiba codes (2) in the MX500 manual (sat section) don't work anything, and when you search for a code, I do get 2 that allow me to change the channel, and scroll down, but that's it.

My DTC100 had EVERY function through one of the MX500's preprogrammed codes.
Is that not possible with the DST3000.?
Is there anything I can do short of going to a store, or buying a remote on Ebay.?

Thanks in advance.

When did you buy your Remote? If URC's system was updated, and has a file for your receiver, then you can send you remote in and get its database updated. You can call their support line (800) 901-0800 and they can help you with this process.

As I mentioned on your other post, try the Hughes SAT codes.

I tried all the "clone" codes and none of them worked.
I'll try local stores, or try the number above.

The code number for the Toshiba (from the MX-700 database) appears to be 157. It won't work with the MX-500 as is, but as Dan said it may be able to be added.

Another option is to go to a store that has the 3000 or the new 3100, and ask if you can learn the commands from one of their remotes.
