I have a palm pda and my wife has a windows based pda. Is there anyway to get discrete codes into them then use it to program the mx-500 ? I heard some people tried a several months ago with no success.

Anybody get it to work ?

Mike,

Use PDA software to program the PDA, and then use it to teach the MX-500 the codes.

The IrDA issue is about using the PDA to learn FROM the MX-500, and during the CLONE process.

Thanks. I originally thought I was thinking of something new. I guess there are alot of other "original" thinkers out there.

Now to find a discrete code for Hitachi.
