Do a live-update to get the new software. "Minor changes", namely the Universal Browser is now active for MX-800 users! David www.BlueDo.com

Have they fixed the crashes due to button names greater than 5 characters (or whatever was at the root of the bug induced when they shipped the universal browser feature)?

I'm testing out the universal browser. I've downloaded the MX-800 editor as well as a test ccf file. I've opened the ccf file in the MX-800 editor, but it seems like I can only drag/drop learned codes to the MX editor. How do I import an IR data from a CCF file to the MX editor?

qwerty01, when you drag/drop learned codes to a specific hard or LCD button, it is importing IR datain the MX Editor. True, you can't really see that what it is importing (e.g. the hex values) - but the codes are being imported.
Or am I misunderstanding your question?

The ccf I've downloaded, for example, on some buttons it will show "learned data" on the action list on the universal browser. These buttons I can drag/drop. However if I click on a button that says "IR Data" on the action list, I cannot drag it out of the ccf file to the button on the MX editor.

The "IR Data" designation appears for Philips/Marantz RC5 codes which currently cannot be dragged into MXEditor. Mike www.SurfRemote.com

The MX-700 and MX-800 are essentially the same - the only difference is the RF capability of the MX-800, so yes - the tutorial would be helpful! David www.BlueDo.com
