I wish to program my fabulous mx-500 to operate a UK Pace 4000 digital cable box. This cable box accepts irda & RC5 remote codes. The original remote for this device outputs the irda signals. The mx-500 seems unable to learn these signals. THe mx-500 also cannot work out a relevant code to work the pace box in Ir mode using the seach facility. So, is there a way to convert these irda signals to a type that the mx-500 can learn?
