Has anyone been able to get their MX500 to work with the Sony Dream System surround receiver/DVD player and to operate TIVO? My installer from Best Buy could not get it to work with either peice of equipment.

The MX-500 doesn't have a preprogrammed code for the Sony Dream system, you will have to teach the commands from the sony remote. And if it's a Sony tivo, you'll have to teach the mx-500 the commands also. Very simple and fast to do, also recommended even when there is code.

how did you finally set up the mx-500 to work your sony 770 and tivo? I might purchase the remote and I have the same components. thanks burtshell [email protected]
