Just ordered one last night from www.bluedo.com. Was hoping someone that already has one can comment on some of my questions.
These will be the components I hope to program to the mx500:
Onkyo 575x
Pioneer 302D dvd player
Digital Cable box (can't remeber the model, RCA)
Sanyo tv
xbox (with dvd remote/kit)

Anybody see any problems I might run in to? I'd like for the tv, cable box, onkyo to come on with one button press (macro, I guess???) And, of course, turn off with another button.
I'm new to the advanced type remotes. I do have an older Radio Shack 15-1994 that I use with this set up (except the xbox).
Thanks for any help.

Should have no problems doing what you want (although I can't comment on the X-Box). The MX-500 is very easy to program. I've had mine for a little over a week and it is a great remote.

Xbox should be no problem either since you can learn everything from the xbox remote control.

The Xbox uses the RCA DVD player code.

Thanks alot for the help. Are there any good websites dedicated to the mx500 (besides the manufacturers) kind of like the one that was for the Radio Shack 15-1994?

thanks for the info.

You're looking at it right now, de. I don't know of any other website that has more info on the MX-500 than the forum you are in.

Here's a web page that might help a little with the MX-500. [Link: barnettpage.com]
