Please share your review!! BTW, as a matter of personal interest, I hadn't heard the expression "best thing since buttered bread" before. I've certainly heard "...since sliced bread" - that is a pretty old one. Any idea where yours came from?

In 1912 Otto Frederick Rohwedder began to develop a machine that could slice bread. In 1928 Otto invented a machine with the help of Gustav Papendick that could slice and wrap bread. Later that year, a bakery in Battle Creek, Michigan, used Rohwedder’s invention and began making and selling pre-sliced bread. Pre-Sliced bread was popularized by Wonder Bread in 1930.
I don't know the history of buttered bread.
Have a Merry Christmas.

Rich -- I suspect your mom created a malapropism out of "sliced bread" and "buttered on both sides", but mom's are allowed to do that! :-)
