Just received my new MX700 and been reading a few posts. What is the URL for the IR databse that I read about?

TIA

The IR database is part of the MX Editor software, which you can download here: [Link: universalremote.com]

Make sure you also download the Programming manual here: [Link: universalremote.com]

I have a new Sony 40"XBR800 where can I find new codes to add to the databse? Also, can you add new devices and codes to the IR Database?

You can't add codes to the database. Often one of the other codes will work, even if it's not the same model number. If not, just learn the commands from your Sony remote.

There's a 40XBR700 file that will probably work in the RC files section here: [Link: remotecentral.com]

Download it, right click on the TV device in the device tree, and select "Import Device".
