I developed and interest on the MX-500, based on your reviews and comments. I ordered one and I am anxiously waiting for it to arrive. I presently own a Sony VL900, I just want to move up to the next level.
My family occasionally uses the DVD and/or VCR with the audio coming from the TV. Other times we get the audio from the audio amplifier (with the TV in mute).
The Sony VL900 allows us to control either the TV volume or the amplifier volume. Switching between the two is fairly easy.
How could it be done with the MX-500? I have been reading about the “Punch Through” function; but I wonder how difficult it would be to go back and forth.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
