I would like to know if there discrete codes to change the video inputs [ie] 1080i,420p,420i,and so on

I think you meant outputs. I had that unit for a frustrating year -- I never did find any discrete codes for it. This doesn't say that they don't exist, but so far no one here has found any. You might check out the Pronto forum - if they exist they will be there.

I have the same Panasonic unit. And I found it best just to leave the output at whatever is native to your TV. In fact my Pioneer Elite will go nuts if I set the output on the S20 to 720p, it don't like that at all. And setting it for 420i or 420p kind of defeats the purpose of having it anyway. In a lot of ways I still like the RCA DTC-100 I still have. I just wish you could combine the best of both into one unit, and toss out the bad stuff of both.
