I've just bought an MX-1000 and am having difficulties with the software. Design and downloading work fine. But if I try to upload, at the end of the upload it insists on doing a file save. As soon as I specify a name for the .mx file to be saved, the software crashes. No error message, just "not responding". I'm using Win2000 and have double-checked the serial port settings.

That seems to be a problem somewhat exclusive to Win 2K. There's more discussion (but no solution) about it here: [Link: remotecentral.com]Maybe someone who's using it successfully on Win 2K can chime in here. Mike www.surfremotecontrol.com
