Here's my origonal question with corrections to a couple of errors that got by me:
I don't own an Mx-500 and am curious about one of it's features. Can anyone tell me whether the remote ends up controling the last device that was accessed in a series of device macro commands? The review I read is unclear on this and suggests that the remote ENDS UP controling the FIRST device that was acccessed in a series of macro commands?
ie. I essentially want to be able to transfer control of the device from one component to another through a series of macro steps that configure my system. I donot want to configure my TV for a DVD player and then have to switch control of the device over to the DVD player.
Ps. Thanx Aztriker
(your response was very clear).

You can run through a number of steps and then end it on the first page of any device you want. It will then control that device. For example, you can program the DVD button with a macro that turns on the TV, turns on the DVD player, turn on the receiver, switches inputs on the TV and the receiver, and then ends on the first page of the DVD device.
