I'm looking to have the receiver and TV switch inputs as I press the buttons from the main menu. If I press DVD, I want the receiver to switch to the DVD input and the TV to switch to input 4 which is DVD. Can it do this or do I have to use the "press and hold" macro?

Also, do I just learn to these 10 LCD buttons on the main menu like normal?

While some people have had success learning more than one command on a button, it's pretty rare and only possible if the commands are short. You would likely need to use a "press and hold" macro.

Learning to the 10 device buttons requires that you press PAGE after LEARN while in programming mode. Otherwise, it's the same as any other button.
