I have cleared out vcr2 for a second dvd player using Aux 155 and wish to program in an existing code(from code table) but when I enter the code the remote will not accept it.What am I missing?

Make sure you select the original location of the DVD device (middle button on the left side of the LCD screen) as the location that the code is coming from. So when you enter P-PRO, choose VCR2, then DVD as the "From Table" device, then enter the code. Mike www.surfremotecontrol.com
