I've just started working on my MX 500 and the only problem I have so far is that when I press a favorite channel button it seems to have a small delay (maybe 1 sec?)between each number it sends out. Is there any way to speed this up or cut down the delay time?

Thanks,
Steve R.

I don't know about the delay between the numbers, but you can program in an enter at the end of the number and it speeds up the sequence by a second or two.

I'd say that normal macro execution is about 2 commands per second. I don't think it could get much faster, as it really needs to send each code for a substantial burst to ensure that the signal is sent well.

I found this thread searching for an answer to the same problem. I agree with Steve R that it takes too long to send the FAV channel signal. I tried adding enter to the end, but that didn't help, and in fact, seemed to slow it down. I can enter the channel numbers much faster manually, so I tend to do that instead, but that defeats the purpose of having the FAV channel buttons. If someone discovers a fix, please post it here. Thanks,
Steve

Just a thought......

If you've learned the channel numbers, etc. for the FAV's to use, try relearning them, but use a quick punch on the teaching remotes button so that only the needed part of the code is remembered.

Holding is longer may add the code in a repeating manner, causing it to be sent out longer when the macro is playing.

Again, just a thought.
