Well, it does appear via the posted link but when you go to check out you get the following: We're sorry, but there are only 0 items available for item #616144. Where do you get your information Greg? Is this just a temporary thing? Matthew

I didn't mean it will be selling at Costco for a long time to come. That's up to URC and Costco whether they carry the MX-500. It could be that they are just out of stock right now.
I was referring to the fact that the MX-500 is not being discontinued, and will be sold for a long time to come.

I just ordered 2 MX-500's from Costco's web site. I tried earlier in the day, but could not complete the order because it was showing 0 on hand. This time I was able to complete the order. 2 @ $99 each. I will now have 3 of these great remotes. Used the link that was posted above.

I posted the Costco link in this thread last Thursday and wished I hadn't. :-) I didn't have the money to order until Tuesday. Well, when I got to the site it was gone. Needless to say, I was pissed. I called Costco and as it turns out what they do is pull the item off their main pages, without deleting the page altogether, when they have sold the amount alloted to them for a specific price. See although Costco has tons of warehouses these MX-500's aren't sold in any of them. Technically what they are doing is re-selling the MX-500 for URC at a lower price. It is up to URC how many they want to sell at any given point in time and this is negotiated with Costco. All of these orders from Costco actually ship from URC not Costco. So, what the Costco rep said is that the moment their allotment from URC is sold they yank the listing from the site then go back to URC and ask to sell more. As soon as they negotiate a number to make available and that they can resell for the same price they put it back on the site. You just have to keep checking the site for it to come back up. I was finally able to order one yesterday (Thursday), but I went and checked the site 20 minutes later and it was gone again. :-) So, they are selling like hot cakes. It was gone all of last night, but I just checked this morning and it was posted again. So, just keep trying and good luck. :-)

The Costco option sounds like a pretty good deal. Which version do they sell (GS2 I hope...)? Did y'all notice they also have the MX1000 for 199.99? [Link: costco.com]
