MX-500- I have nearly completed my home theater setup with this marvelous remote! I am stumped however in getting my favorite channels setup. I seem to get it all right up until when I enter the number channel (this is for a Direct Tv Receiver DT-100) then when I go to hit my enter button in the recording fo the commands, no letter or command comes out for the enter command. I can go back to my remote for example hiut 509 then enter and get HBO to come on, yet I cannot use that same enter command in the favorite learning area. Any ideas on how I can set up my favorites on this satellite receiver? Please help!! and Thanks in advance. Tom

Hi Tom,

It's pretty common to have problems with FAV buttons. You could start by re-learning the "Enter" command to that button again, but the best way to solve the problem is to clear out the button that's not working (ENTER in your case) by using the "Erase" function if it's a learned button, and then learning the command to it again. You should see the letter "E" appear in the FAV Macro string when you program it.
