Greg--
So, did using the EDIT setting make any difference for you?

I'm going to try that tonight, John.
I had my daughter's wedding yesterday, and am helping them move into their new place today.

Oh, Lordie, talk about a thread gone off-track big-time! May their remotes always perform as advertised, and ever be shared in peaceful coexistence ... Amen.

Greg,
Near the top of this thread, ianken had the following question:
"I want two pages on "main" one visible, one hidden for devices I don't want a UI for but whose functions I want to use in macros or on other device pages. Hidden pages on the MAIN page are visible."
Your response was:
"To hide devices on the MAIN page, just hide all of the pages of that device, and then delete the name of the device and save that button. Poof! Gone! Even if someone presses the button, it won't go into that device, since all of the pages are hidden"
What do you mean by "delete the name of the device and save that button"? Do I go into the LCD Button Editor and actually click "Delete" for those devices whose pages I just hid? That did not seem to work for me. In fact, it actually removed the devices and pages from the configuration (not just hid them as I'd like).
Am I following your instructions correctly?
Thanks, Ken

If you go to the Main page you want to hide, for each fake device in it, click once on its button (so it stays on the MAIN page), and in the Button Editor, delete the name at the top of the editor window. Of course the name will disappear from the device list, but the device will still be there with no name.
Because the IR Code in the Button Editor gets set to the original button name, you'll be able to tell which button is which, as of course by the page contents.
Works fine.

That's a "work around" how bout just make the damn "hide" check box work right in the first place?

Actually, I need to retract the part about:
"Because the IR Code in the Button Editor gets set to the original button name, you'll be able to tell which button is which"
but, you'll be able to tell when you click on the blank-named device because you'll see the first page on the remote simulation image.
Pretty painless.
