The JP1 eGroup at [Link: groups.yahoo.com] has the ccf2efc.zip program.

You can use this program to convert a .ccf file (Pronto configurations) into a text file that shows the protocols being used and the advanced codes (EFC) for the buttons. (Updated 2/1/2002 to handle new .ccf format). This may help to get some of the discrete Pronto code to the MX700.

Jim,

I mentioned this in another thread - I predict that indeed someone will 'crack' the MXD/MXF code and create a direct CCF -> MXD program at some point!
