OK, I seem to have stumbled upon a little bug in the software (see my other thread about macros firing from the main page.) I haven't tried importing a macro yet, and I'm pretty sure it will work. I still have one question, though. If I use a shortcut to a macro, and I change the macro, then I'm pretty sure all the buttons which fire that macro will change as well. If I import a macro, does it stay as a separate macro?

This is the scenario I'm thinking of:
As I've said countless times before, I have duplicated the look and macros of my main page to page one of every device I have. Since I have ten devices, that means ten macros that change the input on the reciever, and place the MX-700 on page one of the selected device. That means 11 pages (counting the main page) with 10 macros each. The way its going now, I can't punch through, so thats 110 buttons to shortcut or import a macro to. Yes,its tedious! :) If I buy a new reciever, can I just change the original macro? I'm sure that if the macro is fired via a shortcut I can, but if I import the macro, do I have to change the macro on each button I imported it to?

(And am I being clear here?)

Thanks guys!

If you import the macro, you will have to change every instance.

If you shortcut to a single macro, you only have to change the macro.
