Very nice review, Jim (except for the order of the "Where to Buy" section :-)).

Can you post a scaled down version for those who aren't Yahoo group members here: MX-700 Reviews

I haven't been able to get into the Yahoo version either. When I try and sigh up with Yahoo, I never get the email confirmation that allows me to activate my membership.

Jim,
Why don't you post that in the reviews here at RC for those of us who don't want to join your group?

The review's almost 2 megs in Word format, but I guess he could post a reduced version here.

Can you just copy the the text and paste it in this thread?

That would make it very easy for us to see.

Thanks

It's almost 2,800 words, but includes a few worksheets Jim created. I put it on our server for those having problems with Yahoo:

Plus, MS Word pads a simple text file quite heavily, making a far, far bigger file than the text would take in a User Review on this site.

Plus, a goodly portion of the review, plus the tables (at least in the first iteration of his review) are simply copies of the information readily available on URC's website.

For those of you who'd like to read a 260K PDF instead of a 1.4MB Word file, here you go.

Jim: Why don't you just post the whole thing in this thread.

Then as you update it, you can just edit your message and post another quick message saying you've updated the main one above. We'll all see the date you updated it on.

A great many of us cannot get to the review on yahoo groups, me being one of them.

There are a host of ways to do it.

Windows/Mac: Acrobat is the easiest. They have a PDFWriter printer driver. You print and it generates a PDF. (That's what I used.)

Linux: print to Postscript (from Office), then run ps2pdf (on Linux) on it. ps2pdf may also be available for Windows.

There are also a few freeware equivalents of ps2pdf. I know there's one for the Mac, and there probably is one for Windows as well.
