In programming macros on for instance one of the "M" buttons,it will not recognise a command (change tv input) that works ok on its own..
Any suggestions...It stumped Randy at Bluedo

1) Try relearning the command (you've probably already done this.

2) Try learning a different command in its place, and then learn the input command again.

3) You may have to AUX 155 the whole device and rebuild it for this to work.

Let us know what happens.

... Greg :-)

Try putting a pause before the input change command. The macros execute very quickly and if you are doing something else right before you change the input on the tv, the tv might miss that command.

I did the aux155 from the very start, and of course built my own menu. This worked very good. Great feature.
I built the macro three times waiting until the very last command,(8),entered first 1 than 2 than 3 pauses than entered the command to "change tv input"..no luck.
I even added the command on page 2 by itself..worked fine but still would not pick up on macro.

I had to use .8 sec pauses to do the same thing, glad pauses are not counted as I had to use 6 of them ( that's 4 x pause each).

Good call,Paul :)..4 pauses did it. I have a 65" Mitsu and it is slow to change inputs..
Thanks again and I am sure Randy from BlueDo will pick this up and add it to his files.
This is just a super remote. I tried 3 different touch screens but I just wasn't happy with them. Harmony, the Sony 3000 and the new RS 15-2107...nice unit but memory VERY limited.

Also, if you use a macro that turns the TV on and then changes inputs, you will need a few seconds of delay before you'll be able to change inputs in that macro. The same thing often goes for receivers that don't respond to input changes immediately due to its "soft" power on.

Exactly...I build it ..tv-on>audio>on>dbs-on>channel#>pausex4>change tv input.

Can I build a macro on, say M2, and as part of the macro "call M1" to be part of the macro? Is that called, "nesting"?

In the manual,it states that ALL buttons accept Page,Main and Fav can be programmed.
According to Randy at BlueDo,if you have a macro built on a button, you cannot incorporate a macro within a macro.
I stand corrected if this is not right.

I've ordered a IRLINC and IOLINC from SmartHome to try to "fix" my 4 TOADS. The IRLINC is a X10 controlled learning "remote" with a probe to test the status of the TOAD. The IOLINC is a hybrid quad X10 universal module with 4 probe inputs and 4 DPST relays. I'll let you know what happens. . .
