DJ - You have mail :-)

Rob - I have only removed the first of the three first header strings. It is all I needed to get them to fit into the 700. I may have time this weekend to do some more investigating...

Hey, I got mail! They work fine except for the VEN A code in page 2 (should that have been VIR A?). I'm going to strip from it the codes I have on my device and create a DSP only device from yours, so that between the two we'll have a complete set. Mine includes all the menu navigation and setting via the thumbpad and Menu buttons, DSP navigation with the FFW and REW buttons, smooth repeating volume, mute, display and all input switching.

I'll add some macros to click-access the 2.0 DSP codes to the DSP device. I should be uploading tonight. I somehow lost all the codes from the original library TV device in mine (I wonder if it was because of the library update, as all the learned codes still worked and none of the library codes did) so I spent the latter part of the evening learning those too, rather than re-do the special stuff I had added to the original library device.

This is a real editing weakness the software currently has. There's no way to copy and paste codes around from one device to another - devices have to rebuilt from scratch to integrate stuff, a true royal pain (hear, hear, Greg! :-). Or am I missing something?

Anyway, looks like we're in business!

DJ - Did you get the "level controls" for the surrounds working? I ran across a CCF for the one way remote that I converted to Slink code by hand, and tried with my Slink-E. After a little fussing I got most to work. It has the level controls, test tone on-off, and some other stuff (tired - must sleep...). If these sound like things you might want, I can make another device file with just those in it tomorrow night (if that would work). I can fix the one broken surround if you want. Also, this weekend, if you have an idea on how to set up the pages, I can learn with my Slink-E, and set up one complete device file (wish they could be saved in a manner where they could be like in the IR database).

Got the surround, sub and center levels already - forgot to mention those. I'm uploading now both the DSP and Control TA-E9000ES devices, Sony KW-34HD1 TV, Sony DVP-S9000ES DVD, Sony SAT-T60 DSS Tivo. Getting sleepy too :-).
