I picked up my MX-700 today. Seems to be a great remote. Did all the basic programing for my system in about an hour. The only thing that I couldn't get to work was to have a "Goto Page" function work on a Main page button. I'm trying to set up a Movie macro that would change my lights and start up everything for the DVD player, then jump to the DVD page 1. I don't want to save this under the DVD button on the Main page because I don't always want it to effect the lights. It lets you set up the jump in the macro, but the remote doesn't make the jump. If anyone has had a look at this any input would be great.
Thanks
Scott

What you want to do can be easily accomplished.
Here is how...
1. Put the macro on your DVD button on the Main page. 2. Have the first command in this macro be a pause or time delay function - use the insert time delay button in the macro dialog box. 3. Set the delay for about 0.3 sec. 4. If you press your DVD button for longer than 0.3 seconds the macro fires. A quick press and you just jump to your DVD device page.

I realize that I can do this, but I want to still send the macro every time that I use the DVD button. I was trying to send two different macros for the same control, one with a lighting sceen and DVD macro, the other with just a DVD macro. I could probably just put a lighting macro button on the first page of the DVD, but that's two button pushes that should be able to be done with one. If you have any other suggestions let me know. Also I think that it would be nice if you could set a "Goto Page" that jumps to a specific FAV page. This way you could set up different Fav's for the Sat and ANT or whatever source that you wanted.

This is strange because I just did what you want to do - i.e. put a macro on a main button with a goto command in it - it works fine.
Regarding the goto a FAV page - we have previously requested that they add this feature.

This is really strange because after reading your post I redid what I wanted and it worked. I'm not sure what went wrong the first time, but it works like a charm now. I did have problems with the software right away, and reloaded it since. I wonder if it was a glitch in my first load of the program. Either way, the button works great now, and the remote works flawlessly. That was probably the best experience that I have had programing a custom remote. With a couple of tweeks to the software this might be my favorite remote yet.
