I want the M1 as on & Power off as off for the TV and A/V Receiver.
My A/V receiver has a seperate on & Off but the TV does not.
I think I found the discrete codes for the Sony TV.
Power On 0000 0067 0000 000d 0060 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 03f6
Power Off 0000 0067 0000 000d 0060 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 03de

I have the cinema7+, how do I get the codes into the remote to then send to the MX-500.
The MX-500 when finished should have the TV & A/V receiver in M1 for on and Power Off.

Does a Sony TV remote have a "code" to imput so the power on is one button , and another button is power off?
Sony KPR-53XBR15 TV.

Hi Norman,

You can't use hex codes like you listed above with the Cinema 7 without going the JP1 route. See the following: [Link: hifi-remote.com]

Have you tried to obtain advanced codes for the Cinema 7 that will achieve what you want? You can find out about them at the www.hifi-remote.com as well. If you can get advanced codes for on/off, you can learn them to open buttons on your MX-500 and use them in your macro.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner to your other post.

Mike,
Thanks once again, You Made my Day.
I printed out a list of the advanced codes and now know how to execute them.
