I know there are plenty of feature requests out there, what are the bare necessities to satisfy the MX-1000 user? (What is the least you could live with)

Painfully minimal:
1) allow macros to finish on a specified page
2) if a macro starts on the same page that it ends on, don't repaint page (this may be only a main page issue?).
3) give us the drawing functionality back that we had with previous versions

Well, first of all it should work reliably on the various Windows operating systems.

Fixing all of the existing bugs would be nice, too.

As far as additional features go, if the only thing URC did was allow macros to end on any page, I'd be pretty happy.

In my opinion, those are the absolute bare necessities.

(In the past I would've said allocate more memory for bitmaps, but I guess that's out of the question.)

Why do you ask, Randy?

I would have to say the same as above posts, the minimum changes I would like to see would be:

1) Make it stable for all operating systems
2) Allow Macros to end on any page

If I was allowed one more request it would be for the macro delay to be shrunk to 0.1 seconds (like the Mx-500).

These alterations would make me a pretty happy camper, as the Mx-1000 would be alot more functional with them!

If possible, how about the ability to test set-ups/changes, etc with the remote attached to the computer ala the Pronto to allow for the testing/tweaking of your setup/macros before trying (usually in vain) to get everything downloaded to the remote.

I agree,

Just get the thing to work reliablly on the Windows platforms and function properly on Lap Top computers.

Also have the macros end on any page.

They at least owe us that.

I agree wholehardedly with the above sentiments. The biggest flaw with the MX-1000 has always been, IMO, the puzzling decision by URC to only allow 3 of the 75 available macros to end on any device page of your choosing. Without that functionality, you can't have true one-button switching between components. Remedy that with an upgrade to MX Designer and they won't hear any more complaints from me!

Uh, except the slow-as-christmas screen redraws which are a function of the wimpy processor. But just as you can expect to pay to upgrade the processor in your desktop computer, I'd be willing to pay URC to put a faster one in my MX-1000, if such an upgrade existed.
