Months ago, Greg told us that his "inside" information was that once URC finished with the MX-700, their crack team of software geek(s) would leap into action on the long-delayed MX Designer (apparently they've never heard of multi-tasking). Well, it seems like the MX-700 is now ready-for-prime-time, so is it possible that URC is now back to work on the Designer software, eager to incorporate our many good suggestions and prove all of us who doubted them wrong? Or am I just hallucinating?
And if so, then what's the harm in TELLING US for chrissake, their loyal, faithful, and overly patient customers??!!

Greg also mentioned more recently that he doesn't feel confident that URC is going to follow through with that final MX Designer update. That's what prompted me to start this thread. I was hoping that, if a bunch of us e-mailed URC's president, we would get a straight answer. It seems that URC is continuing to ignore us, which shouldn't really surprise me, I guess...

Just sent the mail. One of the important criteria for choosing the MX1000 was the possibility to do the programming on my PC. I couldn't make it run on Win2k, so I had to set a dual boot and use it on Win98. When I finaly could use it, I saw the limitations and was VERY disapointed. This is far below my expectation from their "top of the line" product. So I decided to add my voice to yours and hopefully get some results.

Well, I posted the John Davis email here before I saw the other link. Anyone in this thread needs to check out the "Response from John Davis" thread.
