The other day I received a Low Battery Warning for the first time. The LCD blanked out to show only the warning then froze up in this state. I couldn't get the warning to disappear off the screen and the remote was rendered useless. I am using the default setting of 10%.

Ideally, after seeing the warning, I'd like the remote to return to its normal state so that I could continue to use it as I charged up my second set of NiMH batteries.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to exit the warning screen without replacing the batteries immediately?

When I come across the problem I'll be sure to look closer... but for now I'm still on original batteries. :-)

What did Universal Remote say about the unit freezing when the warning came on? Is this a known bug in the software? How quick was the turn around to get your remote back? Was your custom programming maintained or did you have to start over? I initiaily did all of my programing on the remote itself and have not yet been succesful uploading to the computer, as a result I have no backup!

This happened to mine, I took the batteries out for 24 hours, then put them back and the unit came back to life, with all data intact. Hasn't happened since (over a week). Might be a bug, I don't remember what I was doing when it happened.
