I love this remote. Anybody else out there using it? Here's my current set of pages:

It's funny, I still have that brand new in the box MX4000.
I think I had mentioned back then about how it would probably be on my shelf for years.
I should put it up for sale on eBay or something and take a loss on it.

Maybe Daniel will expand the URC section in the files area to include an MX4000 area. Right now the URC file area is kind of jumbled together with all CCP file stuff (mostly older).

I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

Are you using the voice control part at all? Xfinity cable box or Alexa control?

Nope. But I keep getting this annoying voice activation message from my LG G3 TV on power-up (insert "Annoyed" emoji here :-)

Yeah LG is going thru a rough time right now with its leadership.

From the BS with their refrigerators & warranty (which everyone is sure is going to get a class action lawsuit shortly). To the spyware they now have on all their devices they refuse to allow you to turn off. Not sure how they are even able to sell product in the EU right now because of that, serious violation of EU privacy laws!

LG seems content on digging themselves the deepest grave they can. Which is a shame, because I love their OLED TVs. Great performance for the money.

As far as that popup message you are getting =
It is possible to defeat it, but it is a long journey of trial & error. From Reddit, here are a bunch of things people have said works. Connect TV to internet, agree to all the TOS check boxes, then go into the available AI and voice setting menu (only visible after to agree to "ALL" the TOS agreements), then turn off all the AI & voice settings, also turn off the "always ready" setting.
You may or may not have to disconnect the TV from the internet after doing all that. Some have said that disconnecting from the internet made the TV turn some of those settings back on. Others have said leaving the TV connected to the internet caused some popups to keep happening.

LG right now is a F^n mess :(

It is a shame. Selecting the voice recognition settings I get the agreement setting. If I agree I get an unable to access the server even though I'm connected. If I select not to then I get back to only having the agreement setting again. Oh well ... :-)
