What is the use for the RF20 connector/interface hidden in the battery compartment?

There's a 3 pin connector in the battery compartment of the remote. I assume this is a serial interface (data, GND, +5v) into the remote. Does anyone here know how to use it?

You can't, its for use by URC to reload the RAM, no aftermarket uses.
