Hello,
I recently picked up a Home Theater System MX-700 remote control with cable and programming software. I programmed my television in no time, but I've been having trouble programming my Direct TV box. The Direct TV box is a model H24-200. Would any one know the correct code for this satellite box? I updated the programming software, but this model is still not listed. I've tried the Direct TV codes listed, but with no luck. Thank you in advance for your help!

Theres only two codes that control the that directv receiver, 173 & 193, 173 is the same as IR code 00001 in the directv remote, and 193 is 00002.

Hello, I just tried 173 and 193. I can't turn the Direct TV box on or off and I'm unable to change channels. Could I be doing something wrong? With my TV, I just looked up the code, selected it, programmed the remote and every function works perfectly. Sound, on/off and menu. Thanks!

If your receiver is in RF mode, only a Directv RF remote will ever control it, or if it is set address other than 00001 or 00002, then codes 173 or 193 won't control it. There are 8 IR codes available to the H24, from 00001 through 00008.
