I have a DLA6 as part of my whole home system. Zone 2 of the receiver connects to the input and each room connects to the outputs. It works fine with the RF remote but I cannot get it to work with my RF MX-450. I purchased a AIB4 and plugged the sensor input to the RF output from the remote system to no avail. I also tried the IR receiver of the AIB4 with a Cat 5 connector to Room 1 and tried the IR remote that came with the DLA6 to no avail. I understand there is no IR receiver on the DLA6 to use the standard IR tape-on control wires that came with the remote. Please help. Thanks.

First, the Aton DLA series is offered in IR or Rf. if you have the RF model, you will not be able to control cia any remote other then the Aton remote

Second, get yourself an amp. The zone 2 amp will quickly fall short and present problems if you are feeding 6 zones of it.

Third, the MX450 is not really the right remote for this setup. It is a bit more programming intensive than a basic setup and will very quickly become too laborious. I'd suggest finding a dealer to help or at least one that is will to provide software and possibly pickup a MX780.

In short, get and amp, swap Aton DLA for correct piece, and program into the pc programmable remote.
