I have a cable company-issued UR4U-MDVR-CHD2 and want to program it. I have downloaded URC's Upgrade Link2 software but do not have a cable to connect my computer to the remote. The remote's connector consists of 4 pins in the battery compartment. URC says the necessary cable is available only to cable companies--not the general public.
Anyone know if I can program this remote using the Link2 software and the proper cable? If yes, where can I get the cable?
