I have TX-1000 and it was very nice remote control. Bought it in February this year.
It is a bit bulky, but I have big hands so it works for me.
Very flexible and fully configurable.

Couple of days ago I noticed a problem.
Somewhere in a bottom part of the LCD display, in the middle of one row, one whole line does not display dots. It looks like letters are cut on half and with space at the middle.

Does anybody have any suggestion?

You should contact the URC Service Department. It sounds like your LCD screen is failing. Do you still have responsiveness from the buttons which have lost the line of dots (called "pixels")? Are the pixels missing in the same spot on every page, or just on 1 page?

Pixels are missing on every page at the same area.

It looks like the whole row of pixels is gone.

Buttons are still responsive

Upload & save your custom programming, then call the URC service department for an RA, as it sounds like you have a failing LCD screen.
