Since starting to invest in X-10 gear, I'm accumulating several "free" remotes bundled with my orders. Since I have a Pronto, these excellent remotes are redundant and I'll sell them to anyone interested.

X10 Powerhouse 8in1 LEARNING remote.....$15, I'll ship. TV/VCR/CBL/CD/AUX1/AUX2/SAT/and X-10 devices. (Almost) any button can be taught from another remote. It didn't have built-in setup for my Sony A/V receiver or DVD, but I was able to train it's AUX2 device ALL the critical commands for the receiver. I used the CBL device to learn all my DVD commands. You can easily teach every device to use your receiver for volume and mute. Backlight. Manual included. NICE remote. I will be getting a second (newer model) of these shortly.

IBM Home Director 7in1......$10, I'll ship. TV/VCR/CBL/AUX1/AUX2/SAT and X-10 devices. This would NOT work my receiver or DVD. AUX can be set for audio devices only. No learning ability. Backlight. Manual included.

Email me if interested.

The 8in1 is spoken for. Still have the IBM home director 7in1. Make me an offer. I "may" be getting another 8in1. I'll post it here if I do.

Ed Maurus has pointed out to me that the IBM 7in1 is available from for less than $5. I have no idea what their shipping cost might be. Get one there if you want one. Mine is no longer for sale. I'm going to dissect it and study it's RF transmitter.

Well, so much for free enterprise. I shipped an X-10 8in1 remote via Priority Mail (USPS). You know, the kind of mail you pay extra for so that it will get there in 2-3 days. 11 days later the receiver in hawaii informs me the package arrived torn open contents missing. Pretty good service, eh?

To whomever in the USPS thought it looked like a jewelry box and might make a nice gift for your wife: Enjoy your new remote. Oh, and may it put your entire home theater in service mode with no way out.
